How Do I Become a Christian?
Believe that the Lord Jesus Christ came to pay the penalty for your sins, is alive today, and that He offers the free gift of salvation (John 3:16; Romans 5:8, 6:23,10: 9; 1 Corinthians 15:1-3).
Confess Jesus Christ as the Lord, confessing your sin to Him, and trust in Him as your personal Savior (John 3:16, Romans 10:10-13).
Just pray with faith acknowledging your sin, believing in the work that Christ accomplished on the cross was for you, and confessing to Him your sin and need for Him to rescue you from judgment. If you did sought the Lord from a humble heart, the Lord will save you. Remember, the act of praying a prayer doesn't save, its the repentant heart that humbly bows before Christ and humbly entreats Him to rescue you from your sin. "The LORD sees not as man sees: man looks on the outward appearance, but the LORD looks on the heart." 1 Samuel 16:7
Once you become a Christian, you need to find a good church that preaches and teaches the Bible. Once you find a good Bible believing church, you should be baptized to publicly confess to all your faith in Christ. You should also become a part of that church, using whatever gifts God has given you for His glory.
