Who Will Keep America Great? Who Is Best For America?

This question, depending on political views, will have a boat load of different responses that are 180 degrees from each other.  Democrats have one solution that has much to do about hope and change and  Republicans have another that focuses on believing in America. Each party has a different vision for America; each party wants America to be great according to their vision.   Who is the best for America?  Who will keep America great?

I have my own political opinions, but I want you to answer the question beyond the political campaign slogans. I believe the real answer to the questions on who will keep America great and who is best for America is found in the pages of the Bible:
"the LORD declares . . . 'for those who honor me I will honor, and those who despise me shall be lightly esteemed.'" 1 Samuel 2:30
I believe the best One who will keep America great and who is best for America is the Lord God of the Bible.  If we as a nation honor Him, then He will honor us (1 Samuel 2:30).  He will bless us, if we bless Him (Psalm 115:13).  If we seek to worship Him alone and not our idols of materialism and pleasure, God will prolong our nation and give us peace and safety--regardless which political party is in power (Psalm 121:1-8; Psalm 127:1).  Blessed is the nation whose God is the Lord (Psalm 33:12)!

The Lord God of the Bible is a loving and gracious God (Psalm 103:8; Ezekiel 18:23; Joel 2:12-13).  All who come to Him, He will never cast away (Romans 10:9-13; 2 Peter 3:9).  Only those who refuse His offer of love, grace, and salvation from sin in Jesus Christ, experience His judgement (John 3:16-18; 1 John 4:9-10; John 3:36).

If Americans would just place their faith in the Lord God, as many use to in America's past, our nation would still be great for many years to come.  Yet, as it is found in Scripture, it only takes one generation to forget the Lord (Judges 2:7-15).  The Bible teaches that those who forget God live a life without peace, that can be full of emptiness and sorrow (Ecclesiastes 1:2; Isaiah 48:22; Isaiah 57:15-21).

What about you? Do you know the wonderful Great God and Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ?   If not, come now and ask Him to save you from your sin (Romans 10:9).  He will save you from sin and judgment and give you an eternal home in heaven in His presence (John 14:1-3).  How is this possible?  It is possible because the Lord Jesus Christ took God's judgment for your sin upon Himself (Romans 5:6-10).  Do not delay, believe and be saved today and experiance God's greatness!
