The Consequences of Compromise

The Consequences of Compromise--from Ken Ham's Blog.

When it comes to non-essential things, compromise can be good.  But when it comes to core beliefs, compromise is deadly.  This is the case when it comes to the Bible.  There are core doctrines to the Bible that if one compromises on, then the Bible becomes a meaningless book.  For example, the Bible is either God's Word and everything inside of it is what God has spoken through the Prophets and Apostles, or it is not.  It cannot be both God's Word and not God's Word at the same time.  How do I know? Because the Bible declares itself to be all of God's Word in 2 Timothy 3:16 when it states that "All Scripture is inspired or breathed out by God."

This article from Ken Ham deals with those who say they believe God's Word, but mix it with a philosophy of life (evolution) that in itself denies the Bible.  His point is that the two positions cannot be mixed together. Amen!
