Will I now be labeled a bigot for belief in traditional marriage?

When considering the possibility that the Supreme Court may side with gay marriage, it is alarming to me that I may end up being labeled a bigot by the Federal government just because I believe that marriage is to be only between a man and a woman.  It is almost unfathomable to accept that the land of Pilgrims Pride is about to become the land of tyranny against the Christian faith (we will just be like the England of the Puritans!). Unfortunately for me, there is no New World to travel to like the Pilgrims to practice my faith according to my Biblical guided conscience.

What should I and my fellow Christians do?  Should we give up our faith in Christ because the world deems traditional marriage as sin (see the article by Foxnews.com about the possible consequnces if the ruling goes against traditional marriage)?  Or, should we stick by the truth of God's Word and suffer the consequences?  For me, the choice is obvious: stick with the truth of God's Word. Why? Consider what we learn from God's Word:

That What We Are Witnessing In America Is The Natural Result Of A Nation That Has Chosen To Exchange The Truth Of God For A Lie:

For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who by their unrighteousness suppress the truth. For what can be known about God is plain to them, because God has shown it to them. For his invisible attributes, namely, his eternal power and divine nature, have been clearly perceived, ever since the creation of the world, in the things that have been made. So they are without excuse. For although they knew God, they did not honor him as God or give thanks to him, but they became futile in their thinking, and their foolish hearts were darkened. Claiming to be wise, they became fools, and exchanged the glory of the immortal God for images resembling mortal man and birds and animals and creeping things. Therefore God gave them up in the lusts of their hearts to impurity, to the dishonoring of their bodies among themselves, because they exchanged the truth about God for a lie and worshiped and served the creature rather than the Creator, who is blessed forever! Though they know God's righteous decree that those who practice such things deserve to die, they not only do them but give approval to those who practice them. Romans 1:18-32

Has a nation changed its gods, even though they are no gods? But my people have changed their glory for that which does not profit. Be appalled, O heavens, at this; be shocked, be utterly desolate, declares the LORD, for my people have committed two evils: they have forsaken me, the fountain of living waters, and hewed out cisterns for themselves, broken cisterns that can hold no water. Jeremiah 2:11-13

That We Should Not Be Surprised That Biblical Christianity Will Often Conflict With Accepted Culture Because The Two By Nature Are Opposed To Each Other:

A disciple is not above his teacher, nor a servant above his master. It is enough for the disciple to be like his teacher, and the servant like his master. If they have called the master of the house Beelzebul, how much more will they malign those of his household. Matthew 10:24-25

You adulterous people! Do you not know that friendship with the world is enmity with God? Therefore whoever wishes to be a friend of the world makes himself an enemy of God. James 4:4

Do not be surprised, brothers, that the world hates you. 1 John 3:13 

Do not love the world or the things in the world. If anyone loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him. For all that is in the world—the desires of the flesh and the desires of the eyes and pride of life—is not from the Father but is from the world. And the world is passing away along with its desires, but whoever does the will of God abides forever. 1 John 2:15-17

But Peter and the apostles answered, "We must obey God rather than men." Acts 5:29

That God Will Take Care Of His People Just Like He Always Has:

Beloved, do not be surprised at the fiery trial when it comes upon you to test you, as though something strange were happening to you. But rejoice insofar as you share Christ's sufferings, that you may also rejoice and be glad when his glory is revealed. If you are insulted for the name of Christ, you are blessed, because the Spirit of glory and of God rests upon you. But let none of you suffer as a murderer or a thief or an evildoer or as a meddler. Yet if anyone suffers as a Christian, let him not be ashamed, but let him glorify God in that name. For it is time for judgment to begin at the household of God; and if it begins with us, what will be the outcome for those who do not obey the gospel of God? And "If the righteous is scarcely saved, what will become of the ungodly and the sinner?" Therefore let those who suffer according to God's will entrust their souls to a faithful Creator while doing good. 1 Peter 4:12-19

Whatever may happen in the future, I am thoroughly convinced that God will work everything out for His glory and the planned end He has for the world.
