Are You Ready For King Jesus?

The Bible makes it very clear that Jesus Christ, who was born of the virgin Mary, who lived a perfect life, who died on the cross taking God's wrath for us, who rose from the dead, is coming back to earth to rightfully claim the world as His own.  The Bible teaches that Jesus Christ is the King, and that the King of Kings and Lord of Lords is coming back soon and will judge the world for its sin.

Are you ready for His coming? His coming the second time is as sure as His coming was the first time.

Here are some Scriptures that teach us that Jesus Christ is the King and that He is coming again:
  • Psalms 2:1-12  Why do the nations rage and the peoples plot in vain?  2  The kings of the earth set themselves, and the rulers take counsel together, against the LORD and against his Anointed, saying,  3  “Let us burst their bonds apart and cast away their cords from us.”  4  He who sits in the heavens laughs; the Lord holds them in derision.  5  Then he will speak to them in his wrath, and terrify them in his fury, saying,  6  “As for me, I have set my King on Zion, my holy hill.”  7  I will tell of the decree: The LORD said to me, “You are my Son; today I have begotten you.  8  Ask of me, and I will make the nations your heritage, and the ends of the earth your possession.  9  You shall break them with a rod of iron and dash them in pieces like a potter's vessel.”  10  Now therefore, O kings, be wise; be warned, O rulers of the earth.  11  Serve the LORD with fear, and rejoice with trembling.  12  Kiss the Son, lest he be angry, and you perish in the way, for his wrath is quickly kindled. Blessed are all who take refuge in him.
  • Acts 1:11  "And said, 'Men of Galilee, why do you stand looking into heaven? This Jesus, who was taken up from you into heaven, will come in the same way as you saw him go into heaven.'”
  • 1 Timothy 1:15-17  "The saying is trustworthy and deserving of full acceptance, that Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners, of whom I am the foremost.  16  But I received mercy for this reason, that in me, as the foremost, Jesus Christ might display his perfect patience as an example to those who were to believe in him for eternal life.  17  To the King of the ages, immortal, invisible, the only God, be honor and glory forever and ever. Amen."
  • Revelation 1:5-8  "And from Jesus Christ the faithful witness, the firstborn of the dead, and the ruler of kings on earth. To him who loves us and has freed us from our sins by his blood  6  and made us a kingdom, priests to his God and Father, to him be glory and dominion forever and ever. Amen.  7  Behold, he is coming with the clouds, and every eye will see him, even those who pierced him, and all tribes of the earth will wail on account of him. Even so. Amen.  8  'I am the Alpha and the Omega,' says the Lord God, 'who is and who was and who is to come, the Almighty.'”
  • Revelation 19:11-16  "Then I saw heaven opened, and behold, a white horse! The one sitting on it is called Faithful and True, and in righteousness he judges and makes war.  12  His eyes are like a flame of fire, and on his head are many diadems, and he has a name written that no one knows but himself.  13  He is clothed in a robe dipped in blood, and the name by which he is called is The Word of God.  14  And the armies of heaven, arrayed in fine linen, white and pure, were following him on white horses.  15  From his mouth comes a sharp sword with which to strike down the nations, and he will rule them with a rod of iron. He will tread the winepress of the fury of the wrath of God the Almighty.  16  On his robe and on his thigh he has a name written, King of kings and Lord of lords."
  • Revelation 22:12-13  “'Behold, I am coming soon, bringing my recompense with me, to repay each one for what he has done.  13  I am the Alpha and the Omega, the first and the last, the beginning and the end.'”
Jesus Christ is alive and is coming back again.  Are you ready? The Bible teaches us that when He comes, He will come quickly just like the Flood did in Noah's day and no one will escape (Mathew 24: 36-39; Luke 21:34-36).

Be ready for His coming.  Believe today in the Gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ (1 Corinthians 15:1-4).  Be saved from the wrath to come.

John 3:16-18  “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life.  17  For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but in order that the world might be saved through him.  18  Whoever believes in him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only Son of God.

John 3:36  Whoever believes in the Son has eternal life; whoever does not obey the Son shall not see life, but the wrath of God remains on him.
